Job summary

Search Masters, Inc. in Ohio seeks an experienced engineer to provide technical solutions and quotations for custom industrial equipment and vacuum impregnation services.

You will review specifications, RFQs, drawings, and other technical requirements to craft accurate proposals. You will estimate new projects using historical costs and vendor quotations, develop project scopes and cost estimates, and assist with designing systems to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of custom industrial equipment and system-level design.
• 7–10 years of experience in custom equipment, applications engineering, with strong customer-facing ability.
• Design experience in estimating, engineering, or related industrial equipment fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions and quotations for custom industrial equipment and vacuum impregnation services.
• Review specifications, RFQs, drawings, and other technical requirements.
• Estimate new projects utilizing historical costs, technical proposals, vendor quotations, and engineering judgment.
• Develop project scopes and cost estimates while assisting with the design of custom systems to meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Service, and Sales to validate proposed solutions and costs.
• Support project engineering and serve as a technical resource while maintaining customer presence throughout the project.
