Job summary

GEOTEK/PUPI seeks a Sr. Applications Engineer to lead design and evolution of engineered composite products used in critical infrastructure applications. This product-focused role offers visibility and impact for engineers who enjoy owning design from concept through validation and launch.

You will lead development of new composite structural products, translate performance needs into designs, and perform structural analysis to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in product development or structural design.
• Strong background in structural analysis and performance-based design.
• Experience through product validation and testing cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new composite structural products and enhancements to existing product lines.
• Translate performance requirements into engineered design solutions.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations (hand calcs, FEA, modeling, etc.).
• Guide prototype builds, validation testing, and product qualification.
• Interpret lab and field test data to drive design decisions.
• Create and review engineering drawings, documentation, and technical specifications.
• Support technical conversations with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify product innovation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
