This is a product-focused engineering role where a strong mechanical or structural engineer will own designs from concept through validation and launch, offering significant visibility and impact across multiple projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
5+ years of experience in product development or structural design.
Strong background in structural analysis and performance-based design.
Experience working through product validation and testing cycles.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Lead development of new composite structural products and enhancements to existing product lines.
Translate performance requirements into engineered design solutions.
Perform structural analysis and calculations (hand calcs, FEA, modeling, etc.)
Guide prototype builds, validation testing, and product qualification.
Interpret lab and field test data to drive design decisions
Create and review engineering drawings, documentation, and technical specifications
Support technical conversations with customers and internal stakeholders
Identify product innovation opportunities and drive continuous improvement

What You’ll Do

Lead development of new composite structural products and enhancements to existing product lines
Translate performance requirements into engineered design solutions
Perform structural analysis and calculations (hand calcs, FEA, modeling, etc.)
Guide prototype builds, validation testing, and product qualification
Interpret lab and field test data to drive design decisions
Create and review engineering drawings, documentation, and technical specifications
Support technical conversations with customers and internal stakeholders
Identify product innovation opportunities and drive continuous improvement

This role blends product engineering, structural design, and technical collaboration.

The compensation range for this position is $98,174 - $138,099 annually. Final offers may vary based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The posted range represents the expected earning potential for this position within the current organizational budget and market conditions.
