GEOTEK / PUPI® — Stewartville, MN is hiring an Applications Engineer to work on-site with a team that designs and supports fiberglass crossarms and engineered composites for infrastructure. You will translate customer needs into viable designs, perform structural analysis, and contribute to new product development.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering with 3+ years as an engineer in manufacturing, and have strong communication skills plus experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 3+ years as an applications, sales, product, or design engineer at a manufacturer.
• Experience in technical conversations with customers' engineers.
• SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand their build and translate it into a design that works.
• Perform the structural and load calculations behind it.
• Interpret test data from the lab and make the design call.
• Lead or contribute to new product development and product lines.
• Produce engineering drawings, BOMs, and reports.
• Present designs and proposals to customers; travel up to 10%.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure quotes align with shipments.
