Citi in Jersey City, NJ seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager to lead a team focused on building and modernizing applications with full lifecycle ownership. You will guide multiple development streams, ensure alignment with technology strategies, and drive delivery excellence through strong leadership and risk-aware decisions.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, architecture oversight, and hands-on collaboration with the Technology organization to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems design
• Experience managing one or more Applications Development teams and personnel duties
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience designing architectures and software design artifacts
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) across teams

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more Applications Development teams and perform personnel duties
• Provide technical oversight across systems and applications
• Review and analyze proposed technical solutions
• Formulate strategies for applications development
• Understand how business areas integrate to meet goals
• Monitor delivery, budget, and resource management
• Ensure standards and compliance in risk and regulatory areas
• Escalate and report control issues transparently
