Job summary

The University of Texas System Administration designs, codes, tests, implements, and supports internally developed application software for Risk Management, Information Security, and Systemwide Compliance offices. Makes recommendations on code reuse or new development and documents system requirements.

The role requires analyzing business requirements, providing user training, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and UT institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/BA or related field with 5 years of related work experience.
• One year of college may be substituted for one year of experience, up to 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Designs, codes, tests, implements, and supports internally developed application software for Risk Management, Information Security, and Systemwide Compliance.
• Maintains applications software and monitors performance as needed.
• Designs complex software systems addressing broad technical or scientific needs.
• Coordinates with stakeholders and team members for project planning and troubleshooting.
• Provides technical and/or project management leadership on large projects.
