Job summary

Rose BioSolutions is seeking a Director, Application Architect to lead the design and integration of core business apps across SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Ironclad, UKG, QMS and LIMS. This hands-on leader will drive data governance and modernize the architecture in a regulated CDMO environment, while managing vendor partnerships and TSA carve-out activities.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of enterprise application architecture experience across SAP, Salesforce, Ironclad, and UKG.
• Experience with QMS and LIMS systems in regulated life sciences environments, including CSV and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Experience validating and maintaining regulated apps in public cloud or SaaS with recurring release cycles.
• Design and reason about system integration architecture, data flows, and integration middleware/iPaaS.
• Carve-out or TSA experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI capabilities in SAP and Salesforce and how to apply them responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end application architecture across SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Ironclad, UKG, QMS, and LIMS; maintain a current view of data connections.
• Work hands-on within platforms to evaluate configuration and integration decisions.
• Partner with the CIO and business leaders to translate needs into designs.
• Anticipate architectural implications of new requirements, regulatory changes, and growth.
• Evaluate AI capabilities (SAP Joule/Business AI, Salesforce Einstein/Agentforce) for responsible use.
• Define and maintain integration patterns, data flows, and system-of-record decisions with Boomi/MuleSoft/SAP PI/PO.
• Ensure CSV practices and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance during changes.
• Lead TSA closure and data migration during carve-out; coordinate cutover readiness.
• Own vendor licensing management and contract negotiations with procurement and legal.
• Establish architecture standards and governance for a regulated CDMO environment.
• Communicate tradeoffs to executives and technical teams.
• Support separation from former parent company and data decommissioning of shared services.
