Job summary

Delta Dental in the United States is seeking a Senior Applications Analyst responsible for planning, gathering and documenting business requirements, creating use cases, and modeling processes to ensure the delivered system meets business needs.

You will engage in solutioning for complex challenges, support testing, and assist throughout the development lifecycle, including change management, traceability and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis in a technical environment, supporting large teams of business, IT staff, and executive management.
• Ability to conceptualize business problems and out of the box solutions.
• Strong data interpretation skills to form actionable suggestions and insights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and creates written documentation describing business needs and requirements.
• Gathers requirements, researches and analyzes existing and proposed solutions.
• Engages in workflow analysis, data and process modeling, and use-case analysis.
• Supports testing by partnering with the Test Lead in planning and execution.
• Provides support across the project lifecycle including issue resolution and traceability.
