Job summary
Blue Cross NC is seeking a Sr Systems Application Analyst to translate business and functional requirements into system designs for complex IT initiatives, including the Employer Portal. You will ensure traceability from requirements to deployed solutions and collaborate with analysts, designers, and developers to align technical choices with business goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in related field.
Responsibilities
- Translate business/functional requirements into system level functional solutions using interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, descriptions, use cases, prototypes, demos, and workflow analysis.
- Coordinate development of functional design specifications, GUI and screen interface designs, including risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Guide project personnel to identify required system changes, perform gap analyses, and assess current functionality with input from other technical staff.
- Collaborate with business analysts, designers, developers and SMEs to establish technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Ensure traceability from requirements through development to verify the solution fulfills project goals.
