Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking a Sr Systems Application Analyst to elicit, prioritize, and convert business requirements into system specifications and to design functional solutions for IT initiatives, including the Employer Portal.

You will work with business partners and cross-functional teams to ensure traceability from requirements to deployment, balancing usability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Understand larger and more complex business issues and data challenges; decompose into requirements.
• Translate business requirements into system-level solutions using interviews, workshops, and analyses.
• Coordinate functional design specifications, GUI/screen/interface designs, and risk/issue considerations.
• Ensure traceability from requirements through development to verify system functionality.
