Job summary

The Lutheran Health Network is seeking an Applications Analyst III to oversee critical software applications across the organization. You will lead major initiatives, mentor junior staff, and partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

In this senior role, you’ll manage complex incidents, drive system upgrades, and ensure performance, security, and regulatory compliance of key applications within the IT landscape.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in application support, development, or systems analysis, with at least two years in healthcare setting.
• Expertise in HL7 messaging standards and enterprise-level applications.
• Experience managing large-scale IT projects or leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides senior-level support for resolving complex application issues and performs root cause analysis.
• Leads design, development, testing, and implementation of major application enhancements and integrations.
• Manages large-scale projects ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed.
• Collaborates with developers, DBAs, and IT staff to maintain performance, security, and reliability.
• Analyzes current usage and recommends improvements to enhance functionality and efficiency.
• Gathers business requirements and translates them into technical specifications.
