Job summary

METRO in Houston seeks an experienced application support professional to provide incident management for transit and COTS applications and to design complex system configurations. You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams, develop reports, and guide interfaces for critical workflows.

Preferred candidates will have a 6+ year track record in application development and support, strong SQL/BI skills, and proficiency with Windows Server and web technologies like HTML5/JavaScript/ASP.NET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum six (6) years of experience in application development and support.
• Experience with transit specific applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level of application support for transit and COTS systems and reports.
• Performs complex system design and documentation including requirements for databases and applications.
• Leads testing and debugging efforts and trains end-users when required.
• Develops high-quality documentation of scope requirements and objectives.
• Collaborates with vendors and developers to support, troubleshoot and upgrade applications.
