Job summary

HomeServices of America seeks an experienced IT Applications Analyst to plan and administer complex enterprise applications, including system administration, user provisioning, incident and change management. Remote work is available within the U.S.

mainland, or on-site in Eden Prairie, MN with work-from-home flexibility. You will collaborate with business lines and vendors, develop project plans, support BMC Helix and ServiceNow, and ensure ongoing functionality with upgrades and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology; or equivalent related work experience.
• 5-8 years of related information technology experience, including requirements gathering and writing specifications.
• Prior experience with real estate specific applications is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide applications system implementation, management and support.
• Act as a liaison between business lines, technical organizations and vendors by planning, conducting and completing an analysis of moderately complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
• Document and communicate proposed applications and business process solutions to management and vendors, determine the extent to which corrections or enhancements can be implemented and their effect on current process and procedure.
• Develop project plans, provide direction and coordinate project activities for applications.
• Analyze application issues and recommend solutions/system changes; coordinate product testing and final sign-off of changes.
• Monitor and maintain the integrity, upkeep, and tuning of applications including migrations, upgrades and enhancements.
• Design, manage, and provide enhancements for BMC Helix platform.
• Translate requirements into fully functioning application solutions and ensure ongoing functionality.
• Audit efficiency of enterprise applications and provide technical and business support for users.
