Job summary

DTCC in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Application Support Engineer to ensure reliability, availability and performance of mission-critical platforms. You will apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles across 40+ enterprise applications on OpenShift, IBM MQ, Kafka and related distributed systems.

You will lead incident response, RCA analysis, disaster recovery planning and drive automation to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6–8 years supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
• Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, reliability, observability, automation, and incident prevention.
• Experience with cloud technologies and modern infrastructure platforms.
• Understanding of messaging systems, middleware, and integration technologies (IBM MQ, Kafka).
• Exposure to container platforms such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
