Job summary

Foxconn is seeking an Application Support Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to manage the day-to-day support and performance of business applications, ensuring system stability and reliability.

You will lead the First- and Second-Level Application Support teams, monitor SLAs, analyze incidents, document resolutions, and collaborate with development and database teams to resolve production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 3 years in application or IT support in an enterprise.
• Experience with ticketing tools and SQL environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate First- and Second-Level Application Support teams, manage shift coverage, assign workloads, monitor performance, and collaborate with DBAs and other teams.
• Monitor and manage the incident lifecycle; log, classify, prioritize, assign, Investigate, resolve, and close incidents per ITSM processes.
• Ensure SLAs by tracking response time, resolution time, availability, and customer satisfaction; identify performance improvements.
• Analyze incident trends and root causes to prevent future issues and improve stability.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions; maintain knowledge base articles.
