Job summary

Carnival Cruise Lines is seeking a Sr. Application Security Engineer to implement and maintain software security in a cloud-based environment.

You will automate governance, develop cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters, and secure applications across our global brands. Ideal candidates have hands-on security tooling experience (SAST/DAST), cloud-native development, and the ability to develop secure pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with software security and cloud-native apps.
• Experience communicating findings and remediation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate application security controls across global brands.
• Collaborate with development teams to test vulnerabilities from scanners and bug bounties.
• Automate governance processes for ease of use by software teams.
• Develop cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters using IaC.
• Perform security reviews of applications and releases against policies.
