Job summary

equivant is seeking an Application Infrastructure Engineer to deploy, configure, and operate the infrastructure for its court case management applications. You will support both on-premises deployments at customer sites and in equivant‑hosted AWS environments, collaborating with Professional Services to deliver billable engagements.

The role covers Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, Java application servers, and AWS, with a focus on health, performance, and recoverability while meeting CJIS

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems engineering, infrastructure administration, or related role with Windows Server and AD.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration.
• Experience with SQL Server and IIS in production environments.
• AWS core services and hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with CJIS/NIST/ISO controls and security practices.
• Willingness to undergo FBI CJIS vetting and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure for court management apps across lifecycle.
• Build hosting environments in AWS and on-premises with HA/DR configurations.
• Install and troubleshoot equivant software interfacing with underlying infra.
• Monitor, patch, upgrade, and harden systems for security and performance.
• Plan capacity and right-size compute/storage/database resources.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to scope and execute customer implementations.
• Diagnose incidents across hosted and on-prem environments, including outages.
• Troubleshoot integration points between apps and infrastructure.
• Work with R&D on architecture and deployment improvements.
• Coordinate change and incident management via ITSM processes.
