Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Senior Application Engineer in Chesterfield, MI, to develop engineering solutions that meet customer needs and support business growth. In this role, you'll lead product feasibility reviews, application testing, and product launch activities while serving as a key technical partner to customers and internal teams.

Your expertise will help identify new product opportunities, resolve application challenges, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years of experience.
Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent collaboration with engineering, sales, customers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and develop new product applications addressing customer needs and specifications.
Serve as primary technical contact for customers, building relationships and communicating capabilities.
Lead product feasibility reviews and quotations with technical accuracy and alignment to requirements.
Develop proposal drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation for proposals.
Plan and conduct product application testing, develop test plans, analyze results, and report findings.
