MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Senior Application Engineer in Chesterfield, MI, to develop engineering solutions that meet customer needs and support business growth. You will lead product feasibility reviews, application testing, and product launch activities while serving as a key technical partner to customers and internal teams.

Your expertise will help identify new product opportunities, resolve application challenges, and drive continuous improvement across engineering and sales functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong communication and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to customers and teams.
• Proven collaboration with sales, engineering and customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new product applications meeting customer needs.
• Serve as technical liaison to customers, communicating capabilities and solutions.
• Lead feasibility reviews and quotations ensuring alignment with requirements.
• Develop proposal drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation.
• Plan and conduct product testing, analyze results, and report findings.
• Provide on-site support during launches and assist with documentation.
• Collaborate with sales to build budgets and forecasts.
• Contribute to new product concepts and continuous improvement.
