Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Application Engineer III to maintain and enhance enterprise apps. This hybrid role requires leading technical discussions, troubleshooting, and refining solutions using cloud-native tech and low-code platforms.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and support large projects while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability across critical applications in a cancer research and care environment in Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering.
• 10 years developing and supporting custom apps.
• Experience with UiPath, Pega, Appian, Power Apps.
• Proficient in Python, Java, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Experience with cloud architectures and deploying at scale.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support a portfolio of apps for high availability.
• Troubleshoot issues with internal teams and vendors.
• Investigate root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and developers.
• Maintain incident and change records per ITSM.
• Provide deployment support and documentation.
• Translate user stories into enhancements.
