Job summary

Reflexive Concepts is seeking an experienced Application Engineer III to support the Secure the Enterprise initiative. The role spans software development, systems engineering, and operations, focusing on automation, data gathering, and continuous monitoring across the project life cycle.

The ideal candidate has 6 years of relevant experience, a BS in computer science, strong Linux skills, and hands-on AWS/DevOps experience.

Qualifications

Six (6) years of experience supporting projects and programs similar in scope and complexity.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with monitoring tools and dashboards.
Experience with Linux system administration and cloud/AWS operations.
Experience with dataflow/data pipelines and incident management.
Experience with DevOps tooling and automation (Terraform, Ansible, pipelines, containers).

Responsibilities

Develop automation and monitoring capabilities for a secure enterprise environment.
Collaborate across Software Development, Systems Engineering, and Operations Support teams.
Monitor data reliability and application health; optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
Operate and watchfloor support across shifts (24/7 coverage) and triage incidents.
Perform basic Linux administration tasks and monitor system health and logs.
Support AWS-based operations, health checks, and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain dashboards, logs, alerts, and metrics to prevent downtime.
