Job summary
Integrity Technology Consultants seeks a Senior-Level Application Engineer to join the Secure the Enterprise initiative at Fort Meade, MD. You will develop automation for security evaluation and authorization, spanning software development, systems engineering, and operations support.
Candidates will monitor systems, manage Linux and AWS-based operations, and provide 24/7 watchfloor coverage on rotating shifts.
Qualifications
- TS/SCI with FS Polygraph.
- 10+ years experience with High School Diploma or GED.
- 8+ years experience with an Associate's Degree.
- 6+ years experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
- 4+ years experience with a Master's Degree.
- 2+ years experience with a Doctorate Degree.
Responsibilities
- Cross-team responsibilities across Software Development, Systems Engineering, and Operations Support.
- Monitor data reliability and maintain application systems.
- Track metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, and application status to prevent downtime.
- Support watchfloor operations by identifying service degradation and escalating issues.
- Perform basic Linux admin tasks: start/stop/restart services, review logs, reboot servers.
- Support AWS-based operations via AWS Console or AWS CLI for health checks and troubleshooting.
- Work in rotating 24/7 shifts (6AM–6PM / 6PM–6AM) for continuous coverage.
