Job summary
Erias Ventures is seeking an Application Engineer to join the Secure the Enterprise initiative. The role spans Software Development, Systems Engineering, and Operations Support to automate and streamline security processes across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities include monitoring data flows, maintaining system health, and supporting watchfloor operations with 24/7 coverage. Strong Linux, AWS, and dataflow tooling experience are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience with monitoring/watchfloor operations tools (Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, CloudWatch).
- Linux system administration and service management.
- Cloud/AWS operations experience (EC2, Lambda, AWS Console/CLI).
- Dataflow/data pipeline tooling familiarity (NiFi, Cribl, Kafka, Logstash).
- DevOps tools: Terraform, Ansible, GitLab Pipelines, Docker.
Responsibilities
- Ensure data reliability and accuracy by monitoring and maintaining application systems.
- Contribute to operational success through continuous performance monitoring and proactive troubleshooting.
- Maintain system health by tracking metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, and application status.
