Our client is expanding their presence in the USA and is seeking a dynamic and experienced Robotics Engineer to help grow business growth across the Southern region.

About the Role:

As an Senior Robotics/Applications Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting customers, dealers, and system integrators with the successful deployment and optimization of collaborative robot (cobot) applications. You’ll engage directly in automation projects, provide technical solutions through simulation tools, and ensure the ongoing success of robotic installations post-sale. This is a customer-facing, hands-on engineering position with high impact on project delivery and customer satisfaction across the South and Midwest U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site analysis and review of robotic applications to ensure successful deployment.
• Provide technical support to customers and dealers, utilizing 3D simulation tools (e.g. RoboDK, Emulator 3D).
• Suggest and validate optimal robot applications based on project requirements and customer needs.
• Support the development of new cobot solutions, working closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Collaborate with system integrators to execute automation projects, from concept to commissioning.
• Deliver post-sales service and maintenance support in line with company standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in automation, particularly with system integrators or robot/cobot manufacturers.
• Experience in automation project management and robot programming.
• Proficiency in Python and C++; experience with Linux environments.
• Experience with 3D simulation tools for robotic systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial robotics and automation technologies.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Texas, Illinois, Michigan, and surrounding areas.
