Senior Application Development Manager (React/Rails)

Looking for a senior-level software development manager to work in a highly impactful role where you’ll balance internal customer needs, team leadership, and technical guidance, working closely with software engineers to deliver new software and product features that directly shape the future of this industry. Any prior experience with product engineering management or client-facing software would be a big plus. Solid experience with application architecture and solution architecture is also required.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers working across two main product lines and several smaller applications.
• Partner with executives, product, and technical leadership to define strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
• Drive technical excellence through architecture decisions, code reviews, and best practices.
• Ensure on-time delivery of features while balancing quality, scalability, and speed.
• Collaborate to align technical direction across all product lines.
• Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and growing top engineering talent.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid software engineering experience (8+ years preferred), including 4-5+ years in software engineering management or application development management.
• Prior experience in an architect-level role would be a big plus.
• Prior experience leading teams that own multiple product areas or lines is preferred.
• Strong technical background with familiarity in modern web technologies (Ruby on Rails, React, MERN stack, or similar).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across executives, engineering, and product.
