Job summary

Inservco Insurance Services, a Penn National Insurance subsidiary, seeks an experienced Application Development Analyst to design, develop, and maintain complex business systems in the Harrisburg, PA area. You will collaborate with clients to define requirements, create technical specifications, and deliver innovative solutions following coding and testing standards.

The role emphasizes documentation, client interaction, unit and system testing, and proactive problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or associates degree in a technical field or 2 years comparable work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of programming and analysis experience.
• Property Casualty insurance experience preferred.
• Experience with GIT, C#, .NET, and SQL Server stack.

Responsibilities

• Code and enhance programs following specifications and standards.
• Create program documentation including specs, data maps, and flowcharts.
• Interact with clients to clarify requirements and assist testing.
• Coordinate unit, system, and model office testing to verify requirements.
• Estimate time for assignments and plan project tasks.
• Define business requirements, design solutions, and collaborate with clients.
• Log and resolve development and production issues; coordinate remediation.
• Review peer code and mentor teammates; present design solutions.
