Bitwise seeks a talented Application Developer and Reverse Engineer to join as a general-purpose Software Engineer for upcoming projects, delivering mission-centric results for the intelligence community. You will design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions with analysts, operators, data scientists, and other engineers.

In this role, you will augment toolsets, derive requirements, deliver end-to-end software, participate in peer reviews, and build prototypes to validate

Qualifications

• 12 years of software engineering experience (or 10 years with a Master's).
• Proficiency in producing and modifying software systems in C/C++, Python, and Assembly.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP and hands-on experience with network traffic analysis (Wireshark).
• Support for fielded software systems in production environments.
• Experience with Git and Subversion version control systems.
• Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Augment existing toolsets to enhance mission capabilities.
• Derive, document, and analyze requirements from stakeholders and operators.
• Produce end-to-end toolsets operating within mission constraints.
• Participate in peer code reviews to reduce defects before field release.
• Build prototypes to validate understanding of mission requirements.
