Experience with REST/SOAP web services development and deployment.
Experience with REACT and AWS services.
Experience with PostgreSQL and large-scale relational database design.
Agile/Scrum methodology experience; ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong interpersonal communication; US citizenship and clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

Design and develop microservice applications in a cloud environment
Interface with senior-level customer management and subject matter experts
Resolve complex design, implementation, and performance issues
Work with the Information Security Organization to ensure developed solutions meet security requirements
Support development and delivery activities from requirements definition and specification through deployment and production delivery
Consult with project teams and end users to identify new requirements and improvement areas
Assist in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies, COTS products, development tools, and testing tools
Support a client in Suitland, Maryland

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
10+ years of recent software development experience
Hands-on Java development experience, including three years of Java Open-Source frameworks and technologies
Experience developing innovative Java-centric, scalable, secure enterprise custom applications
Experience developing microservice applications and APIs
