Job summary

Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join our intel team in Maryland. You will act as a general-purpose Software Engineer and CNO Reverse Engineer, designing, developing, prototyping, modifying, and integrating solutions to support mission-centric results.

You will collaborate with analysts, operators, data scientists and other engineers to deliver mission-critical software and tooling, performing end-to-end development and peer code reviews for quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
• 12 yrs., B.S. or 10 yrs. w/ M.S., 4 yrs. of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

• Augment existing toolsets.
• Derive, document, and analyze requirements.
• Produce end-to-end toolsets that can operate within mission constraints.
• Take part in peer code reviews to reduce defects.

Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join our intel team.You will act as a general-purpose Software Engineer and CNO Reverse Engineer for up-and-coming projects where you will design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions to provide mission-centric results. You will work closely with analysts, operators, data scientists and other software engineers to provide mission tactical support.

Responsibilities

• Augment existing toolsets.
• Derive, document, and analyze requirements.
• Produce end-to-end toolsets that can operate within mission constraints.
• Take part in peer code reviews to reduce defects.
• Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements.

Skills Requirements

• Produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python/Assembly.
• In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), and analysis of network traffic (e.g., Wireshark).
• Provide support for fielded software systems.
• Familiarity with Git and Subversion.
• Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).

Nice to Haves

• Experience with reverse engineering windows or embedded platforms (RTOS).
• Experience with developing CNO specific software in Windows/Linux/Embedded applications.
• Experience with any of the following: Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust.
• Experience with Vulnerability Research and Exploit development.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
