Job summary

Belay Technologies is seeking an Application Developer to join our intel team in the Baltimore/Washington area. You will act as a general-purpose CNO software engineer embedded in operations, handling design, prototype, development, release, deployment, and maintenance of the team's tools.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a technical degree or equivalent experience, and experience in C/C++/Python with network programming.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required or active clearance preferred.
• 6+ years of experience or equivalent education.
• B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs in place of B.S. / M.S. is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Augment existing tools.
• Derive, document, and analyze requirements.
• Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements.
• Produce end-to-end toolsets that operate within mission constraints.
• Provide technical consulting support across software products and technologies.
• Participate in peer code reviews.

You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle including design, prototype, development, release, deployment, and maintenance of all tools developed by the team. In addition to the above you will also be responsible modifying other teams' tools and integrating products developed by other teams into our toolkMiit for mission-centric results. You will work closely with analysts, operators, and other software engineers to define new requirements and provide tactical support to operations.This includes quick reaction operational support and the support in addition to the longer development lifecycle of more feature rich capabilities.

Candidates should have the following

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph6 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S. or 4 yrs., M.S.

Responsibilities

• Augment existing tools.

Skill Requirements

• Produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python, with explicit experience in network programming.
• Provide support for fielded software systems.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate with users of differing technical knowledge including operators, analysts, and other developers to deliver finished products to the customer.
• Reverse engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Git and Subversion.
• Atlassian Tools (Confluence/Jira/Bamboo).

Candidates are desired to have the following skills

• Experience with any of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Bash, Powershell, Perl, C#, Rust.
• Experience developing CNO specific software in Linux/Window/Embedded environments.
• Experience with Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development.
• Experience with Malware RE.
• Solid understanding of cryptography.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations..
