Akkodis is seeking a Senior AWS Developer for a Full-Time, Permanent role with a client located in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as SNS, SQS, S3, AWS Glue, TypeScript, NodeJS, MuleSoft, Informatica, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Rate Range: $110-118k/annum + benefits (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Hybrid Schedule: In Office T, W, and Thursday.

Work from home: Mon, Friday and the last week of the month

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. AWS Developer with a robust background in AWS, Node.js, and TypeScript to join our Enterprise Services Integrations team.

This candidate should have 10+ years of experience in AWS development, cloud solution designs, and application development using Node.js and TypeScript.

The role will involve creating and deploying advanced AWS-based enterprise integration solutions, ensuring optimum functionality, and interfacing with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust cloud architectures.

The ideal candidate should also be proficient in Agile Scrum methodologies and have extensive experience working with offshore developers, ensuring effective collaboration and seamless project delivery.

Position Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in AWS development and architecture.

In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, and Lambda, SDKs, and best practices.

Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.

Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.

Experience with AWS-based container solutions like AWS ECS, AWS Fargate, and EKS.

Proven experience in Agile Scrum methodologies.

Extensive experience working with and managing offshore developers, with the ability to coordinate and collaborate across multiple time zones.

Certified AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer.

Experience with Enterprise Data Integrations would be a significant advantage.

Experience with MuleSoft
