Job summary

ECCO Select is seeking an Application Development Manager in Frisco, TX to lead delivery of critical system changes and enhancements, and to supervise a development team.

You will define priorities, manage vendors, ensure IT security compliance (SOX/privacy), and drive performance improvements across platforms like .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Azure.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years IT experience, 5+ in app development, 4+ in management, and proven cross‑functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
•  
• At least 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in application development and 4+ years in management.

Responsibilities

• Define project priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships to optimize service delivery and business value.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align priorities and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure all development activities comply with IT security, data privacy, SOX, and internal audit requirements.
• Lead initiatives to improve system performance, efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Communicate software structures and behaviors to stakeholders for organizational alignment.
• Prepare and deliver detailed technical specifications guiding solution definition and delivery.
• Proactively monitor applications for stability, performance, and health.
• Develop resource and capacity plans aligned with business goals.
• Establish and enforce development policies, processes, and QA standards.
• Demonstrate leadership with 4+ years in management and strong IT background.
