Role: Senior Appian Systems Analyst

Location: Austin, TX (Remote)

Summary:

Perform Appian design and development systems analyst work in support of Information Technology projects. Duties include independent design and implementation of Appian-based application systems. Contribute to the software development lifecycle activities from development and testing to implementation and support, per project requirements. Design, implement, validate, and deploy new applications using the latest Appian technology. Develop user interfaces, process models, and data storage solutions within the low-code Appian environment. Create code, artifacts like test specifications, perform testing, and support go-live activities. Analyze project requirements and environment to ensure solutions align with current architecture and future enhancements. Conduct impact analysis and prepare technical user stories for development. Use project management tools and techniques to address project needs. Assist in creating, maintaining, and enforcing global standards. Perform analysis and documentation tasks to support team projects. Manage system availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency by engineering reliability into software and systems. Mentor junior Appian developers.

Required Skills:

1. 4-7 Years of experience with Appian components including Process Models, SAIL Forms, CDTs, records, reports, and integration.
2. 4-7 Years of experience building Appian CDTs and integrating applications with databases like MySQL and Amazon RDS.
3. 4-7 Years of experience as a systems analyst in a technical or analytical role.
4. 4-7 Years of hands-on experience in application design and implementation.
5. 4-7 Years of experience creating project documentation such as system design specifications, architectural diagrams, flowcharts, screen prototypes, and wireframes.
6. 4-7 Years of experience with a test tool like Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) – Octane or earlier versions.
7. 4-7 Years of experience with database management systems such as IBM Data Studio and Squirrel.
8. 4-7 Years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
9. 4-7 Years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and UX/UI tools.

Skills:

1. 4 Years of Appian Certified Analyst/Developer/Senior Developer.
2. 4 Years of SQL experience.
3. 4 Years of experience with Agile or Hybrid Software Development Methodologies.
