Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to join our IT team to design, develop, and implement secure enterprise applications and process automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will lead architecture considerations, security implementations, and integrations with enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft or Oracle, with a strong focus on the full software development lifecycle. This is a fully remote position available to qualified U.S. residents, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Appian experience (v24.x+).
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries and data modeling.
• Experience with REST/SOAP, JSON, XML for cross-system communication.
• DoD Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface Design: Build Appian SAIL forms and dashboards integrating data from multiple systems.
• Data Modeling: Design and maintain CDTs and Record Types supporting apps and integrations.
• Workflow Automation: Develop end-to-end processes for approvals, notifications, and case management.
• Integration Architecture: Design Connected Systems and Integration Objects to connect Appian with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• API Development: Develop Appian integrations and Web APIs for secure data exchange.
• Security & Authentication: Implement OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.
