Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Appian Developer to join our IT team and help design, develop, and deploy secure enterprise apps and automation solutions.

The candidate will architect Appian-based solutions, integrate with enterprise systems, and build scalable workflows while maintaining high security standards. A DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is required. This role is fully remote with travel up to 10% and is ideal for experienced developers seeking impactful work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Appian development (v24.x or higher).
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services.
• Able to obtain DoD Secret level clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Lead Developer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface Design: Build intuitive SAIL forms and dashboards bridging data from multiple systems.
• Data Modeling: Design Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types for apps and integrations.
• Workflow Automation: Develop end-to-end process models for automation, approvals, notifications, and case management.
• Integration Architecture: Design Connected Systems and Integration Objects using REST/SOAP APIs.
• API Development: Create Appian integrations and Web APIs for secure data exchange.
• Security & Authentication: Implement OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based security.
