The Senior Appian Developer works within the Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Analytics and Technology (OAT). This role defines, designs, develops and implements innovative business solutions using low-code platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand processes and technical needs.

In this position, you will partner with client teams to create efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to code quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Appian development, including business/systems analysis and Agile/SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation using low-code tools.
• Design, develop, and deploy applications with emphasis on UX and process optimization.
• Create and manage automated workflows to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews to uphold standards.
