Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to design, build, and deploy applications on the Appian platform, focusing on workflow automation, data fabric, and UI design for mobile and web.

The role requires 13+ years in software/systems engineering, TS/SCI with CI Poly, and at least 1 year on Appian or similar low-code platforms, with strong Agile delivery and full lifecycle capabilities.

Qualifications

13+ years of experience in software or systems engineering or a closely related field.
A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience; a Master’s for 6 years.
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
Minimum of 1 year of experience developing or configuring applications using Appian or similar low-code/no-code platforms.
Front-end or back-end software development skills.
Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodology.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities across the full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Build, test, and troubleshoot applications using Appian’s low-code environment.
Design and implement complex business process workflows.
Create data records and connect Appian with external systems.
Design user-friendly interfaces for mobile and web.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance Appian applications.
Translate client requirements into functional Appian solutions through design, development, and testing.
Participate in Agile software delivery to ensure high-quality UX and usability.
