Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to design, build, and deploy applications on the Appian low-code platform. This role emphasizes workflow automation, data fabric, and UI design within BI&A, with collaboration across teams and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in software or systems engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s for 6 years.
• Active TS/SCI with a current CI Polygraph.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience developing or configuring applications using Appian or similar low-code/no-code platforms.
• Front-end or back-end software development skills.
• Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities and ability to work across the full application development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Building, testing, and troubleshooting applications using Appian’s low-code environment.
• Designing and implementing complex business process workflows
• Creating data records and connecting Appian with external systems.
• Design user-friendly interfaces and interfaces for mobile and web.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide support and enhancements to Appian applications.
• Transform client requirements into functional Appian solutions through design, development, and testing.
• Participate in Agile software delivery, ensuring high-quality user experience and application usability.
