Job summary

Maximus in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Appian Developer to design and implement enterprise applications using Appian components. You will build secure RESTful integrations, model data with SQL, and optimize performance in an Agile/Scrum setting.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, a 4-year degree in CS/IT/engineering, 5 years of professional experience, and 3+ years with Appian (v17+). Knowledge of AI/automation is a plus.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of professional experience.
3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (v17.x or higher).
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
AI & Automation: familiarity with AI technologies, AI/ML/LLM integration; Appian AI.
