Job summary

Groundswell is a premier technology integrator and solution provider focused on federal agency challenges. We are seeking an experienced Appian architect to guide architecture design, integration, and scalable solutions across client environments.

You will mentor delivery teams, implement best practices, and evaluate emerging technologies to improve value and outcomes. This role supports cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments with a focus on security and performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
• 6+ years of related IT experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
• Active Appian Lead Certification.
• Strong experience with Agile delivery.
• Strong technical implementation skills.
• Strong database design and development skills.
• Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing.
• Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes.
• Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success.
• Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their unique needs and ecosystems.
• Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies.
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
• Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration.
• Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations.
• Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement.
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
• Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources.
