Job summary
Guidehouse is seeking an Appian Solution Architect in San Antonio, TX to lead digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients. You will design scalable, secure Appian-based solutions, integrate with REST/SOAP APIs, and guide cross-functional teams through the full software delivery lifecycle.
You will mentor developers, stay current with Appian updates, drive Agile practices, and contribute to reusable frameworks and accelerators.
Qualifications
- A MINIMUM of EIGHT (8) years of professional experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise software delivery.
- A MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of hands-on experience architecting and developing solutions in Appian, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, and integration with REST/SOAP, web services, and cloud platforms.
- Current Appian Lead Developer or Solution Architect certifications and ongoing learning in related technologies.
- Expert-level understanding of Appian best practices, scalability, and cloud security.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Appian-based automation solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Translate business needs into actionable Appian solutions and integrate with third-party systems.
- Guide project teams and clients through platform decisions, solution design, and implementation strategies.
- Develop and present architectures, roadmaps, and migration plans, articulating value and risk mitigation.
- Mentor developers and junior architects and promote knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with Appian updates and industry trends to drive enhancements and accelerators.
- Drive Agile delivery, participate in sprint planning, and oversee deployments and post-launch support.
