Job summary

The Workshop LA in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a Sr. Apparel Designer to lead design from concept through tech pack for knit and woven garments, working closely with Product Development and Sales to shape the vision for new product lines.

This hands-on role requires several years in apparel design, ideally with licensed products, and strong technical design skills including tech pack creation and construction knowledge. A sharp eye for color, print, and fabrication across categories is essential.

• Several years of experience in apparel design.

Responsibilities

• Developing design standards and creating original designs and detailed tech packs for new and elevated products.
• Collaborating with Product Developers and Sales teams to establish the vision and direction for upcoming lines.
• Designing across knit and woven garments.
• Ensuring all designs meet quality, comfort, and cost targets throughout development.
• Applying strong color and fabric knowledge to elevate product assortments season over season.
