Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join the hybrid team located in Dallas, TX (and other offices). The role focuses on production support, deployment troubleshooting, and incident resolution across Windows and Linux environments.

You will collaborate with developers and operations to ensure system availability, performance, and security, while contributing to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent field.
• 5-9 years’ experience supporting web-based applications.
• Solid understanding of network and internet technologies and Microsoft environments.
• Excellent customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, continuous-improvement environment.

Responsibilities

• Support critical production applications, respond to production issues.
• Troubleshoot nonproduction and production environments related to code deployment.
• Address major incidents and ensure application systems stability.
• Monitor requests in ASE Service Now queue for nonproduction deployment and troubleshooting.
• Create technical documentation and provide information to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure non-functional requirements are met.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrade activities and incident remediation.
