Aledade PBC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer II to design, implement, and maintain security services that scale. You will partner across teams to drive impactful outcomes and strengthen our digital landscape from a remote‑first posture in the U.S. or at our Bethesda, MD headquarters.

The role emphasizes secure SDLC, incident response leadership, and mentoring, with a flexible, collaborative culture focused on public health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field; 10 years security experience allowed without a degree.
• 6+ years securing and deploying apps in Cloud Native environments.
• 3+ years in a dedicated application security role with secure SDLC/DevSecOps focus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate security solutions across teams to automate capabilities.
• Use data to identify trends and drive security improvements with stakeholders.
• Lead incident response, containment, and remediation in cross‑functional settings.
• Develop and refine security documentation including policies and SOPs.
• Mentor junior engineers and analysts to grow security capabilities.
