Job summary

Texas Oncology San Antonio is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Radiation Oncology team at TXO Medical Center, San Antonio, TX. This is a part-time role, 3 days per week, with collaborative practice alongside physicians and a strong focus on patient-centered cancer care.

The ideal candidate will hold an MSN as an NP or complete a PA program with NCCPA certification, possess BLS/CPR, and have oncology experience.

Qualifications

• MSN with NP program or PA program certification.
• State NP licensure or PA certification (NCCPA).
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in collaboration with physicians.
• Document visits and education, order/review studies, prescribe medications.
• Participate in tumor board, trainings, and meetings as required.
• Collaborate with the care team and refer to other providers as needed.
• Maintain compliant documentation per policy and guidelines.
