UFJPI is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider IV (APP IV) to deliver high-level patient care in inpatient, critical care, labor & delivery and/or ED settings in Florida/Georgia. The role emphasizes neuroendovascular pathology with opportunities to scrub in and serve as a first assist in procedures.

The position requires an APN or PA license in FL/GA, 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• 2 years Critical Care, Labor & Delivery /ED/OR care settings preferred
• Masters Nursing Practitioner required or Masters Physician Assistant program required
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse(APRN) Licensure or Physician Assistant Licensure in FL/GA required
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• New Grads in Orthopedics must acquire DEA within 90 days of hire

Responsabilidades

• Performs or assists with high-complexity procedures in office, inpatient unit, OR, or ED; may scrub as first assistant
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and committees
• Cares for patients with neuroendovascular conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Manages pre-/post-operative care and discharge planning
• Documents in EMR and maintains accurate medical records
• Educates patients and families about care plans and follow-up
• Contributes to program development, research, and quality improvement initiatives
• Travel up to 25% as required
