Job summary

PJM Interconnection is seeking a skilled Applications Architect to help transform PJM's web applications and system integrations. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions and produce comprehensive design and audit documentation.

You will participate in code reviews and support all phases of the software lifecycle, including production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong experience with Java and .NET in enterprise apps.
• Knowledge of SDLC, architecture patterns and data integration methods.
• Experience integrating apps with Oracle, MS SQL and Postgres.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, testers, and SMEs to deliver features.
• Translate requirements and wireframes into working applications.
• Document technical designs, estimates, and audit-compliant docs.
• Lead code reviews and participate in cross-functional Scrum teams.
• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle and production support.
• Develop, debug, and test applications based on user requirements.
• Assist in integrating systems from external vendors.
• Identify enhancements to development standards and best practices.
