Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a software engineering professional to design, develop, and implement complex enterprise solutions across data models, ETL, and reporting. You will work with data modelers, architects, and SMEs to produce design, development, testing, and production support for the organization’s data initiatives.

The role focuses on SQL Server development, C# programming, SSIS workflows, and letter-generation pipelines, with emphasis on performance, data quality, and enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field.
• 4–6 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, procedures, performance tuning).
• 3+ years of C# development and 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with healthcare/managed care data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise software solutions across the data ecosystem.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects to stage and transform data for letters.
• Own the in-house letter application and document generation workflow (Word/PDF).
• Develop and support SSIS packages, ETL, and document conversion processes.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.
• Perform data analysis, testing, and production support; resolve data and performance issues.
• Create technical documentation and system designs; communicate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to data mart development, EDI X12, and EDW feeds.
