Job summary

EY is seeking an APIGEE Platform Engineer to help create a secure, automated platform that enables enterprise APIs to perform at scale across cloud, hybrid and on‑premises environments.

You will join a multidisciplinary team overseeing the build, operation and continuous improvement of Apigee environments, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, security controls and production readiness, with 4–8 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of Apigee platform related experience.
• Hands-on Apigee proxies, shared flows, products, apps and environments.
• Kubernetes pods, deployments, services, ingress, namespaces and RBAC.
• Cloud exposure (GCP, AWS, Azure or hybrid) and networking basics.
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Apigee organizations, environments and runtime settings.
• Support Apigee X, Apigee hybrid across multiple environments.
• Operate Apigee runtimes on Kubernetes platforms (GKE/EKS/AKS).
• Develop CI/CD and APIOps pipelines for proxies and environments.
• Manage security, IAM, TLS/mTLS, OAuth2 and API key protections.
• Configure logs, metrics, alerts and incident response.
• Maintain platform documentation and runbooks.
