EY is seeking an experienced APIGEE Platform Engineer to join our US-based digital platform team. You will help build, operate and continuously improve enterprise Apigee environments across cloud, hybrid and on‑premises deployments.

You will collaborate with platform architects, API developers, cloud engineers and security teams to ensure stable runtimes, reliable deployments, strong observability and scalable migration programs.

Formación

• Four years of Apigee platform administration and API gateway operations.
• Hands-on with Apigee proxies, shared flows, products, apps, environments, policies, analytics, and management APIs.
• Kubernetes operations including pods, deployments, services, ingress, RBAC, autoscaling, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Cloud exposure in GCP, AWS, Azure or hybrid/on‑prem environments including IAM, networking and security basics.
• CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven, shell scripting or Python.
• Knowledge of API security: TLS/mTLS, OAuth2, JWT, API keys, rate limits, quotas, spike arrest, threat protection.
• Observability, production support, Linux, YAML/JSON, Git, REST APIs, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Build and configure Apigee orgs, environments, hostnames and runtimes as per platform designs.
• Support Apigee X, Apigee hybrid across dev, test, UAT, performance, prod, DR environments.
• Operate Apigee hybrid runtimes on Kubernetes platforms (GKE/EKS/AKS) incl namespaces, pods, RBAC.
• Develop CI/CD and APIOps pipelines for proxies, shared flows, env config and platform promotion.
• Manage DNS, load balancers, routing, TLS and mTLS certificate config and validation.
• Apply security controls across Apigee, IAM, RBAC, secrets, gateway policies (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
• Configure logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards; support incidents and production readiness.
• Migration support for IBM API Connect and DataPower to Apigee waves; readiness and cutover.
• Maintain platform docs, SOPs, runbooks and support transition materials.
